Alba's Delight AKA White Pizza, Bianca's Bliss, Ricotta Rhapsody


- 1 cup ricotta cheese

- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)


1. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

2. Add the garlic powder and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

3. Add the butter and stir until melted.

4. Add the ricotta cheese and stir until smooth.

5. Add the mozzarella cheese and stir until melted and well combined.

6. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using).

7. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened slightly.

8. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.


- Use this white pizza sauce as a base for your pizza, topping with your favorite ingredients such as vegetables, meats, or herbs.

- Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.


- You can adjust the amount of garlic powder to your taste.

- Add some grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.

- Use fresh herbs like parsley or basil for added freshness.

- Experiment with different spices, such as red pepper flakes or dried oregano, to give the sauce a unique flavor.
